Abstract

Summary. Introduction. This article explores the sociocultural activities of the Kyiv Palace of Children and Youth during the ongoing full-scale war, providing a scientific overview of the institution's work and its impact on youth development.

Purpose. To provide scientific evaluation and comprehensive analysis of the Palace's sociocultural activities under current conditions, identifying effective practices and developing methodological recommendations for improvement.

Methods. The study employs theoretical analysis and synthesis of scientific literature, document analysis of institutional materials, and descriptive methods to present the multifaceted nature of the work.

Results. Analysis reveals that the Kyiv Palace has effectively adapted to martial law conditions by implementing online formats, psychological support projects, and charitable initiatives. The institution contributes to comprehensive student development, fostering leadership, creativity, and civic engagement.

Originality. This study provides focused analysis of a specific extracurricular institution's sociocultural activities during modern societal challenges and wartime. It examines innovative methods, including play-based techniques for children's mental health support — a highly relevant and under-researched topic.

Conclusion. The Palace's sociocultural activities are multifaceted and effective. The study confirms the need to enhance analytical and empirical foundations for developing evidence-based recommendations for other educational institutions. Findings provide a foundation for future research and practical application in extracurricular education.
