Abstract

Summary. The modern strategy for the development of civilization insistently demands a new philosophy of education, recognizing the need not just to increase the level of education, but to form an innovative type of intelligence, holistic thinking of a young person, which can help him or her to form a holistic picture of the world. Under these conditions, there was a need to transition to a new educational paradigm, the essence of which can be defined as the continuity and integrity of education aimed at satisfying the diverse interests of the individual. The formation in the minds of schoolchildren of a system of knowledge about the world and a holistic attitude of the individual towards it is most optimally carried out in the conditions of integrated learning, which combines elements of rational-logical and intuitive-figurative thinking. Despite the fact that the didactic potential of academic subjects increases when their content is integrated, the results of the pilot study show that in school practice, too little attention is paid to this issue, which negatively affects the quality of students' learning. The purpose of our article is to develop scientifically based methods of integrating the content of subjects of the humanitarian and artistic cycles, which is the basis of an innovative technology for forming professional competencies of future art teachers in the process of professional training under the educational program "Fine Arts". The formation of harmonious, holistic thinking is based on a combination of logical-rational and figurative-artistic methods of cognition, which ensures the ability of education seekers to perceive the world around them as a holistic system and can act as an effective tool for solving complex socio-cultural and global problems in the process of social development. To solve the tasks set, we used a complex of research methods: theoretical, empirical, observational, prognostic, praxemetric, and statistical. The scientific novelty of the obtained research results lies in the fact that for the first time: - the innovative technology of integrating the content of subjects of the humanitarian and artistic cycles in the New Ukrainian School has been substantiated and experimentally verified. So, we found out that the use of an integrated approach ensures the integrity of the learning process, the interdependence of the student's theoretical and practical activities. The integration of learning content is revealed as a process of organizing the system of structural units of the content of educational subjects and the connections between these units. It has been established that the integration of learning content is carried out by merging elements of different academic subjects in one synthesized course (topic, section, program), merging scientific concepts and methods of different subjects into general scientific concepts and methods of cognition. It is substantiated that the integration of the content of subjects of the humanitarian and artistic cycles significantly affects the emotional and value attitude of schoolchildren towards facts, phenomena, and events of the surrounding reality. Methods of the proposed innovative technology of integrating the content of subjects of the humanitarian and artistic cycles for the New Ukrainian School (visual-emotional, procedural-reproductive, combined-creative) have been developed. Thus, the presented article describes the ways of integrating the content of the subjects of the humanitarian and artistic cycles of the developed innovative technology, which made it possible to provide high-quality professional training for future teachers of fine arts in the context of developing integrated forms of student learning at the New Ukrainian School.
