Abstract

Summary. Introduction. The article examines modern approaches to organizing project activities in vocational education, which has become a key component in training highly qualified specialists capable of meeting the demands of today’s labor market. Based on an analysis of theoretical and practical aspects of project work, the relevance of its integration into the educational process of higher vocational institutions is highlighted. The study presents the features of implementing flexible project management methodologies, within the educational context, which help ensure adaptability, flexibility, and responsibility among participants throughout the project implementation process.

The purpose of the article is to identify promising approaches to the implementation of project-based learning in vocational education considering contemporary educational and management trends. The authors substantiate the necessity of applying project methodologies for the development of professional competencies that equip students to carry out practical tasks in real-world conditions.

The research methods are theoretical in nature and were used to study scientific literature (analysis and synthesis), formulate reasonable conclusions (generalization), determine the key characteristics of the researched processes (induction, deduction).

Results. A review of scientific publications emphasizes the role of project activities in vocational education as an effective pedagogical tool for knowledge integration, team collaboration, critical thinking development, and fostering independent decision-making skills.

Originality. The article analyzes studies by Ukrainian and international scholars on the interdisciplinary approach to organizing project-based learning and the use of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) as a means of evaluating project quality and effectiveness. Additionally, the key factors influencing project organization and efficiency, such as resource allocation, risks, uncertainties, and project management specifics within the educational environment, are discussed.

Conclusion. The proposed formula for successful project activities in educational institutions focuses on the integration of innovative management methods, which enhance student motivation, foster critical and engineering thinking, and prepare students to solve complex problems within their professional field.
