Abstract

Summary. Problem: The article addresses key issues in the professional training of future bachelors of natural sciences as specialists of the new generation, in accordance with current requirements.

It is emphasized that the subject component of the conceptual foundations of professional training for future bachelors of natural sciences is becoming increasingly relevant. This is due to, on one hand, the renewal of the biological component of school natural science education, and on the other hand, the imperative of strengthening integrative processes in natural science education, expanding and enriching the social experience of students.

Purpose: The purpose of the article is to substantiate the pedagogical tools for ensuring the unity of methodological approaches as a concept for the constructive formation of competence in biology for future bachelors of natural sciences, in the context of studying the professionally oriented academic discipline “Plant Physiology.”

Research Methods: The genesis of the presented scientific research was based on general scientific methods of analysis and synthesis, induction and deduction, generalization and abstraction, overview and analysis, description and comparison. These methods made it possible to identify functional relationships of dependence between the studied phenomena and processes in the system of forming competence in biology for future bachelors of natural sciences.

Main Results of the Study: The article outlines the importance of fundamental biological academic disciplines in the structure of professional training for future bachelors of natural sciences. The resource potential of the academic discipline “Plant Physiology” as a component of the biological education of future specialists is theoretically substantiated. The main focus is on the methodological guidelines for the formation of competence in biology as an important subject-content component of the profession-al training of future bachelors of natural sciences in the process of teaching the course “Plant Physiology.”

Scientific Novelty of the Research Results: It has been established that the proposed approaches ensure the integrity of the educational process. They contribute not only to the intensification of the process of subject-specific biological training for future specialists but also give it an effective direction and subjectively significant positivity.

Conclusions and Specific Suggestions of the Author: A feature of the formation of biological competence in future bachelors of natural sciences in the process of teaching the course “Plant Physiology” is the consistency and interdependence of scientific and methodological approaches, which ensure the integrity of the educational process. The presented pedagogical toolkit for implementing approaches to teaching a practice-oriented course has significant pedagogical resources for stimulating the process of forming competence in biology for future bachelors of natural sciences.
