PROFESSIONAL TRAINING OF FUTURE SPECIALISTS OF INDUSTRIAL PHARMACY AT THE NATIONAL PHARMACEUTICAL UNIVERSITY

Abstract

Summary. The article reveals the features of the development of the pharmaceutical market in Ukraine. It is recognized that it is a very important, developed complex that determines the defense and national security of the state. Ukraine's integration into Europe forms new rules that should be guided by the pharmaceutical industry of Ukraine. It is analyzed and established that as of 2024, more than 100 pharmaceutical enterprises operate in Ukraine, which manufacture medicines on which people's health depends, not only for the needs of the Ukrainian consumer, but also supply them to the world market. Abstract. The article reveals the features of the development of the pharmaceutical market in Ukraine. Ukraine's integration into Europe forms new rules that should be guided by the pharmaceutical industry of Ukraine. It is analyzed and established that as of 2024, more than 100 pharmaceutical enterprises operate in Ukraine, which manufacture medicines not only for the needs of the Ukrainian consumer, but also supply them to the world market. Therefore, specialists working in this high-tech industry and producing products according to world quality standards must possess the knowledge, specific skills, and competencies that the pharmaceutical industry needs in an innovative development model. It is summarized that the training of future specialists in industrial pharmacy is carried out by five higher education institutions (HEIs) of Ukraine. The National University of Pharmacy (NUP, Kharkiv) is one of them.

The purpose of the article is to analyze the professional training of future specialists in industrial pharmacy at the National University of Pharmacy according to the educational program "Technology of Pharmaceutical Preparations".

Main results of the study. The National Qualifications Agency (NAK) has published approved professional standards for the following professions of professionals and specialists in the field of pharmacy: industrial pharmacist - a professional whose professional activity is to organize the activities of a pharmaceutical enterprise, develop, industrially produce, control and manage the quality of medicines to meet healthcare needs. The educational program should be based on the requirements and orders of employers. The article studies and highlights the problems of professional training of future specialists in industrial pharmacy at the National University of Pharmacy in the field of knowledge 22 Health Care, specialty 226 "Pharmacy, Industrial Pharmacy", specialization 226.02 "Industrial Pharmacy" under the educational program (EP) "Technology of Pharmaceutical Preparations".

Conclusion. Despite the martial law, the pharmaceutical market of Ukraine is dynamically developing and growing, which determines the demand for specialists in the field of industrial pharmacy and increases the requirements for the quality of their training, which is reflected in the objectives of the educational program of the National University of Pharmacy "Technology of Pharmaceutical Preparations".
