he article analyzes the essence and role of the development of corporate culture in shaping the professional competence of future officers. It presents the names of scholars who have investigated the stated issue in their works. A number of researchers equate the concepts of «corporate culture» and «organizational culture». However, organizational culture is understood as the values, traditions, metaphors, language, and symbols of an organization. An important place in this context is given to the organizational culture of leadership. Corporate culture is viewed by scholars as a system of values and beliefs shared by every member of an organization, which dictates their behavior and determines the character of the organization’s activities. A comparative analysis of the components of the professional competence of future officers and the indicators of their corporate culture is presented. The formation of the corporate culture of future officers involves their engagement with the norms, values, and traditions of military higher education institutions; the acquisition by cadets of practical experience in the development and maintenance of corporate culture among their future subordinates.
