Abstract

Formation of the readiness of the future graphic designer for professional activity in the context of designing design objects characteristic of the industry using digital technologies is an urgent problem of modern professional training. The development of the basic provisions of the concept lays down a holistic system of training coordinated in terms of content, structure, organizational and pedagogical conditions, methods, and means of education, a system of design objects and a complex of digital technologies.

The article aims to highlight the provisions of the concept of training future graphic designers for designing design objects using digital technologies.

Methods. Solving the specified problem required analysis, systematization, concretization, and theoretical generalization of the results of scientific-theoretical and empirical investigations. This gave grounds to structure and characterize the concept as systematized scientific knowledge and a form of presentation of research results that contains components of both theoretical and practical orientation.

Results. The concept, as a construct, contains general provisions (leading ideas, goals, tasks, principles), methodological (theoretical-methodological basis), theoretical (conceptual-categorical apparatus), technological (content-meaning content of the researched process), and practical (verification of the obtained results) concepts.

Originality. The concept of training future specialists in graphic design for the design of design objects using digital technologies contains four groups of initial provisions, which are focused on: the connection of the global market of graphic design, objects of graphic design, and the means of digital technologies that provide their design; the connection between the principles of the graphic designer's professional activity and the process of designing design objects; methodologies of training future graphic designers and actual training of future graphic designers for designing design objects using digital technologies. The concept defines the purpose, tasks, and principles of the implementation of the idea, which take into account the principles of universal design, and the content of methodological, theoretical, technological, and practical concepts.

Conclusion. The highlighted concept of training future graphic designers to design objects using digital technologies is aimed at promptly taking into account in the context of preparation the requirements of stakeholders, the national and global labor market, the implementation in the conditions of the spread of digitalization, educational technologies that meet the tasks and specifics of the field of graphic design, organizations practice-oriented and personal-oriented acquisition by students of higher education of professional competencies defined by the relevant Standard of higher education.
