«SAVE YOUR GRANNY’S LANGUAGE AND CULTURE» – THE PROJECT, WHICH HELP TO LEARN AND REPRODUCT OF UKRAINIAN LANGUAGE ANG SONG DIALECTS

Abstract

Summary. The articles dedicated to the actual problem of the preservation of language and song dialects by students and pupils. The study describes the concept, purpose and tasks of the project «Save Your Granny’s Language and Culture», the organizational stages of the implementation of the program and the results.

The purpose of the article is to analyze the current state of study and reproduction of language and song dialects by students in the process of implementing the project. The creative activity of six folklore collectives was analyzed.The importance of transferring living Ukrainian speech into the conversational and educational environment of modern Ukraine was emphasized.

It was determined that the professional approach of teachers to the preservation of language and song dialects helps pupils and students to master traditional art through direct communication with authentic speakers, study of folklore archives and during specially organized classes. It is proposed to apply the experience of folklore collectives and the results of the project in the educational process of Ukraine in order to stimulate pupils and students to preserve tradition, culture and language.

The research has practical value, as the video materials of the project complement the methodological support of the educational process and contribute to the further improvement of educational programs.
