Abstract

Summary. Military actions on the territory of Ukraine forced many countries of the European Union to realize the need to introduce special protective procedures in civilian systems, such as the military. This also applies to the education of children and youth who may feel threatened in the face of the war in Ukraine. More and more often, we hear about various evacuation procedures, maps of shelters, and strengthening measures to protect the state border. War is a terrible cruelty and brings many destructions that affect the intellectual development of children and youth.

The purpose of the article is to substantiate the expediency of implementing various types of paramilitary training, in particular for periods of crisis, which increase the general awareness of society, including children. Establishing military profile classes in high schools or supporting local associations dealing with security issues should be in the interests of every country. From an early age, we must develop patriotic traits among the youth and raise their awareness of the threats that may arise from accidents such as: armed conflict, terrorist attacks or even simple first aid.
