Summary. The article examines the directions of development of new scientific knowledge and innovations in education, analyzes the use of modern learning technologies and means of scientific communication in the domestic scientific space. The essence of scientific communications in modern educational technologies is revealed, the peculiarities of the functioning and development of communications and their place in the formation of research competence of future specialists are highlighted.
The forms and purposes of scientific communications as an important factor in the formation of students' research competence are outlined.The importance of the application and development of the strategy of scientific and research activities, the implementation of which is aimed at accelerating the development of certain areas of university science, technologies, and innovative activities of higher education institutions, which ensures sustainable economic growth based on the training of highly qualified personnel, is emphasized.The relationship between scientific communications and innovations in education is analyzed, attention is focused on technological, pedagogical, and organizational innovations that contribute to the rapid spread of innovative ideas and their implementation in the educational process.
