Abstract

The preparation of primary school teachers in European countries has been reviewed. The models of primary school teacher preparation in European countries have been characterized.

The features of primary school teacher preparation in European countries such as Great Britain, Germany, Denmark, and the Netherlands have been revealed.

The organizational structure of the teacher preparation system has been substantiated. The study of education development in European countries is focused on concepts such as the humanization and democratization of modern education, as well as national and global trends in educational changes.

An analysis of foreign scientific literature has been carried out, indicating common features in some European countries regarding the preparation of primary school teachers.
