Summary. Current aspects of the introduction of innovative technologies into the process of training future pharmacists are considered, in particular, the advantages and challenges associated with the use of virtual and augmented reality, artificial intelligence and other modern tools. It is noted that in modern pharmaceutical education, a key requirement is being implemented – the formation of an individual style of professional activity in the participants of the educational process, aimed at high competitiveness of future pharmacists. Features of traditional and innovative education systems are characterized; the peculiarities, content, advantages and limits of the application of innovative educational technologies in the light of modern concepts of pharmaceutical education are highlighted.
It is proven that the result of innovative processes in educational institutions is the use of theoretical and practical innovations, as well as those that are formed on the border between theory and practice. It is noted that the source of innovation is a purposeful search for ideas to solve problems, and their implementation takes place through testing in the form of pilot implementation.
Attention is focused on the need to adapt educational programs to the requirements of the modern labor market and provide graduates with competence in using innovative technologies in the field of pharmacy.
