Summary. Acquiring the key student’s competences necessary for further successful self-realisation is at the center of the transformation educational processes.
Reveal the essence of a personality-oriented approach to creative expression in the organization of students creative activities is the purpose of this article. Creative and active self-expression shows many possibilities for developing imagination and understanding your own emotions. Thanks to art, people learn to think critically, solve problems creatively, and develop sensitivity to the beauty of the world.
Creative self-expression in artistic and practical activities in educational institutions is aimed at ensuring self-development, the formation of artistic and creative associative thinking from the standpoint of openness and co-creation.
New type of relationship between the teacher and the student, which involves creating conditions for the production of processes of active creation of knowledge by the individual; mutual assistance and cooperation, joint, creative development of the world; dialogical interaction between the individual is the basis for the implemental of the personality-oriented approach. The analysis of modern research on this issue shows that the full perception of music requires the work of associative, motor, auditory and logical memory.
Developed emotional intelligence and emotional self-regulation are the key to an individual’s mental and physical health, ability to empathize, and compassionate attitude towards other people. The presented modern methods of teaching music in secondary education. The proposed methods form motivation to learn, generate great interest in the art of music, contribute to the successful self-realization of the individual, and offer a way to improve practice and innovative changes in the methodology of teaching music.
