Abstract

Summary. The article examines modern approaches to the formation of professional culture of skilled workers in the system of vocational education and training (VET). The importance of this process in the context of the challenges of the modern labor market, which requires not only technical knowledge and practical skills, but also high moral and ethical standards, social competencies, teamwork, the ability to adapt to change and implement innovative solutions, is emphasized.

The multifaceted structure of professional culture, which includes professional knowledge, ethical norms, social competencies, environmental awareness, leadership qualities and the ability to self-development, is investigated. The key aspects of modern educational approaches are highlighted, including the introduction of innovative technologies, the development of practical skills in real production conditions, and partnerships between educational institutions and employers. The need to constantly update educational programs in accordance with the requirements of the labor market and technological progress is emphasized.

Particular attention is paid to the introduction of a competency-based approach that emphasizes the integration of students' educational, practical and creative activities. A personality-oriented approach that takes into account the individual needs, characteristics and potential of each student, contributing to their professional self-realization, is considered separately. The importance of ethical education, which forms responsibility, honesty, tolerance and respect for professional and social values, is emphasized.

The article also highlights an interdisciplinary approach that provides a holistic understanding of professional activity through the integration of knowledge and methods from different fields. The importance of students' participation in professional communities, conferences, seminars and other events to enrich their experience and form important professional contacts is revealed.

The role of teachers in the formation of professional culture as mentors and models of professional behavior is described. The necessity of their continuous professional development and mastering the latest teaching methods is emphasized. The importance of psychological stability, emotional intelligence and stress resistance as components of professional culture, which ensure the effectiveness of activities in a dynamic work environment, is determined.

The formation of professional culture is considered as a multifaceted process that includes the integration of innovative technologies, the development of professional knowledge, skills and social competencies, the education of ethical norms, as well as motivation for continuous learning. This contributes to the harmonious development of the individual, the competitiveness of future specialists in the labor market and their integration into the global professional community.
