Abstract

Summary. The article is devoted to a comprehensive study of e-learning as a modern cultural phenomenon that is dynamically developing under the influence of digital technologies through the prism of a neuroscientific approach in the context of studying cultural history and the English language.

The purpose of the study is to provide a scientific analysis of e-learning as a modern cultural phenomenon from the perspective of neuroscience to optimise teaching of humanities.

To achieve this goal, the following tasks have been identified: to reveal the neural mechanisms of cognitive processes activated in e-learning; to conduct a comparative analysis of the effectiveness of e-learning and traditional methods of teaching cultural history and English; to assess the impact of e-learning on the formation of intercultural competence and the development of students' language skills; to outline the prospects for using e-learning to preserve national cultural identity in the context of educational globalisation.

The research methodology is based on the integrated use of theoretical (analysis of scientific literature, synthesis, generalisation) and empirical (unstructured observation, questionnaires) methods. The theoretical analysis helped to identify key concepts and approaches to the problem under study, while empirical methods provided primary data on students' experience of using e-learning.

The results of the study demonstrate the significant potential of e-learning in increasing learning motivation and efficiency of knowledge acquisition, which justifies the need for further in-depth study of the neuroscientific aspects of e-learning in order to optimise the educational process in the digital environment.
