Summary. The use of pedagogical modeling is important in finding ways to increase the effectiveness of the educational process. Modeling is understood as the study of methods, their ordering, visualization, explanation, reproduction, and study to obtain new information. Pedagogical modeling imposes restrictions associated with abstraction from secondary characteristics when highlighting essential ones. Modeling when building models of training future specialists (which are typologically divided into structural-functional, structural-content, and functional-content) occurs in several stages, which differ slightly in different concepts.
The article aims to highlight the components of the model for training future graphic designers to design objects using digital technologies as relevant to the modern practice of training specialists who can work in an international context and maintain the level of professional training in an updated state.
Methods. Solving the specified problem required analysis, systematization, and theoretical generalization of the results of scientific, theoretical, and empirical research. This gave grounds to characterize pedagogical modeling as a method of scientific research and a form of presentation and visualization of research results, which contains several interconnected blocks.
Results. The generalized model of the system of training future graphic designers to design objects using digital technologies is one of the subsystems of the educational system and correlates with the components of the model from the proposed concept of training.
Originality. The result of the study of ways to increase the effectiveness of training future graphic designers to design objects using digital technologies is the proposed structural and functional model of training future graphic designers to design objects using digital technologies. The specified model presents a consistent combination of mutually determined components: key factors influencing the training system, goals, objectives, concepts, structure and content of training, conditions for organizing the educational process, forms, methods, means of organizing initial activities, criteria, indicators, levels, tools, stages of diagnostics of the formation of readiness of future graphic designers to design objects using digital technologies and the result of the training process – the formed readiness. The application of the concept of readiness in the context of the study is separately outlined.
Conclusion. The highlighted model of training future graphic designers to design objects using digital technologies is aimed at organizing practice-oriented acquisition by higher education applicants of skills in the use of digital technologies by future graphic designers, taking into account the requirements of stakeholders, the labor market, and the spread of digitalization that correspond to the specifics of the graphic design industry. The results of implementing the model into the educational process of higher education institutions that train future graphic designers require further generalization.
