Abstract

Summary. The paper studies various stakeholder groups and their influence on the specialists training process in Ukraine’s higher education institutions.

The authors examine the issue related to cooperation between higher education institutions, business, professional associations, public organizations, and other interested parties that can contribute to educational training programs improvement and professional competencies development meeting the modern labor market requirements. These processes are significant not only for ensuring the higher education quality increase, but also for training specialists who will meet the modern domestic and global labor market requirements being crucial for the economy, society, and education development.

The main attention in the research piece under consideration is focused on the stakeholder importance when developing higher education students’ professional competences determined, in particular, by the need to integrate theoretical knowledge with practical experience which allows training specialists ready to face the modern challenges.

The article as well discusses the key role of various stakeholder groups and their interaction techniques with higher education institutions considering in particular some challenges that may arise in the cooperation process between stakeholders. The authors outline the stakeholders’ contribution to the future competitive specialists training process for the students to be capable of successful functioning and competing in the globalized world.

The main prospects for further research within this issue are also focused on emphasizing the need for a detailed study covering the cooperation specific features between higher education institutions and stakeholders during the period of full-scale Russian aggression on Ukraine’s territory, that will contribute to the regions and industries socio-economic development, and the analysis of the methods and techniques that can make this cooperation more productive and efficient when dealing with the graduates’ employment and further career prospects.
