The article discusses the pedagogical conditions for developing research skills in future teachers of vocational and technical education institutions (VTEIs), focusing on disciplines within the safety cycle. It highlights the significance of learners' access to modern tools, software, and technologies for data collection, processing, and analysis.
Key skills necessary for preparing qualified professionals capable of effectively teaching and implementing innovations in the vocational education system are identified. Pedagogical conditions for developing research skills are outlined, including emphasis on «practical orientation,» «conducting research and practical exercises,» «use of modern technologies,» «multimedia materials,» «collaboration with practicing professionals,» «further research opportunities,» «assessment and reporting.»
It is recommended to create conditions for learners to independently choose research topics, formulate hypotheses, as well as collect and analyze data. Emphasis is placed on the opportunity to study statistical data on workplace accidents, analyze these data to identify trends and risk factors, and develop recommendations for preventing similar situations.
The conclusions drawn suggest that the specified pedagogical conditions are necessary for the development of research skills in future VTEI teachers, especially in the context of safety cycle disciplines. They contribute not only to the development of technical skills but also stimulate interest in scientific research in the field of occupational safety, the preparation of qualified professionals, and the effective integration of innovations into the vocational education system.
