Summary. This article highlights various aspects of the management of extracurricular educational institutions, with a particular emphasis on their psychological dimension, including cognitive activity strategies, learning styles, managerial approaches, and the influence of external factors. The study also explores the qualitative characteristics and key indicators of this aspect.
The concept of the extracurricular education system, its structure, and the peculiarities of organizing the educational process in various types of extracurricular educational institutions have been analyzed. The study explores the definitions of “leadership” and “educational leadership,” including leadership in education, leadership for education, and leadership of education. It has been determined that the psychological dimension plays a critical role in ensuring the effective organization and functioning of extracurricular educational institutions.
The psychological features of management have been identified, including cognitive activity strategies, learning styles, management practices, and the influence of external factors. It is noted that modern management of educational organizations requires the involvement of leaders who are key figures in educational institutions.
The article focuses on the psychological characteristics of the management practices of leaders in extracurricular educational institutions, particularly including teamwork, motivation for joint activity, partnership interaction, emotional intelligence, creativity, psychological well-being, and more. Attention is drawn to the internal factors that ensure the effectiveness of managing extracurricular educational institutions, such as thinking and learning styles, the structure and stages of activity, and the principle of human-centeredness.
The article provides a theoretical justification for the psychological aspects of managing extracurricular educational institutions, including: the formation of motivation and the setting of realistic goals, establishing a clear communication process, creating conditions for professional growth of staff, ensuring feedback, and maintaining mental health. The article provides a comprehensive description of these aspects.
